Top 4 questions asked at job interviews for Horsham job seekers

1. Describe your strengths

It is pretty much a sure fire thing that on most Horsham job interviews you will be asked what you think your strengths are (and sometimes what you think your weaknesses / 'development areas' are too). You want to leave a positive sentiment with the interviewer(s) so you will need to show that you are taking a course of action to overcome your weaknesses. One thing is for sure, you need to have spent some time thinking about this interview question in advance so you know roughly what you will answer when asked it.

2. Why do you want to take up this particular role?

Think carefully about this question. Stress the encouraging aspects that have attracted you to this position.

What qualities do you believe will be needed for this job?

The job ad for the job may help you a little bit, but you should also think of the additional skills that may be required. These may include leadership ability, interpersonal skills, communication skills ,interpersonal skills ,leadership ability etc.

3. What do you believe you bring to this position?

This is your chance to shine. Tell them about your triumphs in your previous roles that are relevant to the new position you are applying for.

4. Why do you want to come to work at our company?

Emphasise the positive reasons why you want to join their organisation, but avoid aspects such as more money or shorter hours. These may not impress your prospective new boss. Stress the positive reasons for your desire to change jobs - for example opportunities for promotion / staff training etc.
